Highly recommend these boots
By Tristan on Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2021
I read a ton of reviews on these before buying my first pair. This review is for my second pair. I bought the first pair about 8 months ago and read how they don’t last long. So I saw these on sale and figured I’d buy a backup. They’re still in the box and based on how my current pair look (zero wear even on the sole), I don’t think I’ll be busting out my backups any time soon. Now I’m not an EMT, LEO and I don’t wear these everyday- usually only on fall/winter/early spring (colder) weekends, to the range, running errands or when doing yard work (Cutting down trees); they’ve replaced my timberlands which I was using similarly. I love these boots, love the zipper (have stepped in puddles and my socks stayed dried) and they may be the most comfortable shoes (any type of footwear) I own. I find them more comfortable than my adidas boosts, which are double the price and now my second most comfortable shoes I own. They may also weigh the same as the boosts, which is crazy. I’m guessing that’s not true, but these boots are crazy lightweight. If you’re on the fence, I recommend you try them.

Very Short Lifespan - Stitches Failure
By Elia on Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2021
I bought these boots in October 2020. I wore them not more than 40 times over the past 10 months. Never mistreat them. Used at the range maybe 10 times and at job sites not even 20 times (when steel toe not required). The stitches holding the plastic tip started to fail after 20 days of usage. That is the same type of failure I have seen in other reviews. Last time I used them, I was at a offsite job. I didn’t even bother bringing them back home. Threw them in the trash can while I was packing. Zero waterproofing. I mean zero. On a rainy day, your feet will get wet. Yes, they are light and comfortable, however, they are far far away from being a reliable pair of boots. A life expectancy of 160 hours is just unacceptable. I’m being very generous with an estimated 8hrs usage per day (more than likely, they failed at after 120 hours of normal usage). Shame on UA for making such a cheap and defective product. I strongly recommend potential buyers to read other reviews from different sources. I’m not the only one complaining about the stitches failing and short lifespan. These “boots” are not made for walking.
