Great Deal
By M. Phillips on Reviewed in the United States on February 27, 2019
I'm not prime and ordered this on Sat 23rd with free shipping and it came this morning the 27th. Package originated from TX. Came with scoop, frother and Ninja travel cup pictured. Did not have filter as clearly stated in listing. Unit looked brand new other than metal carafe needed good cleaning as had some stains at bottom. Ran a couple of clean cycles thru it it then brewed a travel mug size using classic setting. Works great. It does drip for a good 3-4 minutes after brew cycle completes so use drip stop if you remove mug immediately after brew. Temp was right at 175 degrees when I removed mug and tested with cheap bbq thermometer. Plenty hot. Coffee tastes great. I'd call this a good deal for $59.

It worked great, one time.

These are refurbished(used) so I was not surprised by the used shown on the item. The pot was perfect and the reservoir looked brand new, even if the lid was soiled and scratched. There was a set of comprehensive instructions attached to the maker describing how to clean it properly prior to use. I missed the "flush" cycle the first two times I cleaned it, so it got three cleanings before I could get the "clean" light to extinguish. I set the timer to brew the next morning and woke to a disappointing half pot of coffee. My first thought was the carafe setting dial was on the wrong setting, it wasn't. Later that day I ran the clean cycle again. I ensured I followed the directions to the T; correct vinegar to water, filled to the clean max line, set a reminder to complete the rinse cycle, and voila, clean light is out again. To be safe, I ran a cycle to brew coffee, just to make sure the brew would work. It did, but the light came on midway through the brew; it did brew a full pot though, almost to the top of the carafe. I cleaned it again, followed by the flush cycle, light goes out. I set it again to brew for the morning. Low and behold, another half pot of coffee. I resolved to do the four hour "enhanced clean" cycle. I set reminders to follow up with a flush so I was sure it was done correctly. Halfway through the cleaning, I pull out the carafe and pour the contents into a clear beaker for inspection. it was clear with no debris what so ever. The cycle completes and I dump the contents to start the flush cycle. Quarter way or so through the flush cycle, I pull the carafe and again inspect the liquid. Again, clear as glass. I put the carafe back under the flow to let the flush complete. Light goes out, I set it up for a morning brew. To my horror, I awake to find I had forgotten to dump the rest of the flush cycle out of the carafe the night before. I was pretty happy it only brewed half a pot this time, even though it was enough to get all over the counter. The clean light was back on. I opened the instructions in the book and see that the machine has to be cleaned/flushed at least once weekly more if you have hard water. If the clean light is on, you only get a half pot I guess. It must be a very sensitive sensor in this thing. The standard clean cycle is not automatic and it cost nearly two hours of dedicated time to complete. I don't give my cars that much attention. I gave up and returned this coffee maker/ life spoiler back to the refurbishment company, the return went much better then the rest of this experince...
