Top-Notch Hearing Protection with Clear Sound!
By Amazon Customer on Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2025
The Walker’s Razor Slim Electronic Earmuffs have quickly become my go-to gear for both range shooting and hunting. These offer a perfect blend of comfort, protection, and tech — everything you need in hearing protection. 🔇 Excellent Noise Reduction: They provide solid NRR protection and block out loud gunfire without muffling ambient sounds. The sound-dampening kicks in instantly and effectively, keeping my ears safe without making me feel isolated. 🎧 Clear, Amplified Audio: The built-in microphones pick up voices and ambient sounds clearly, allowing for easy communication on the range or in the field. It’s great not having to remove them just to hear someone speak. 🧠 Smart, Comfortable Design: The ultra-slim profile is a huge plus — they don’t feel bulky or get in the way when I’m aiming or wearing a hat. The headband is well-padded and adjustable, making them comfortable for hours of wear. 🔋 Long Battery Life: Battery life has been impressive so far, and the auto shut-off feature helps conserve power. Swapping batteries is quick and easy when needed. 🎯 Great for All-Day Use: Whether I’m at an indoor range or out hunting, these earmuffs stay secure and comfortable, and the slim design makes them easy to pack and carry. If you’re serious about shooting or hunting and want reliable, comfortable, and effective hearing protection, the Walker’s Razor Slim Earmuffs are a fantastic choice. Great value and performance all around!

Not bad, but you get what you pay for.

I bought these as an inexpensive replacement for another pair/brand of amplified earmuffs I’ve had for 10 years and are now cutting off on one side. These Walkers are literally 3x less than the replacement cost of the ones I’ve been using and looked like a great value. On one hand these are an excellent value for the price point. They look the part, and are pretty comfortable. The barrel volume adjustment is easy to use. However, coming from the Peltor’s, the sound quality is severely lacking. Perhaps if I hadn’t been accustomed to what other amplified hearing pro sounds like, I might not be as critical. Probably not. The sound comes across tinny and distant (like from another room) and I can’t pick up the sound of my dogs moving around, nor most of the environmental sounds that I’m accustomed to picking up in the field. Perhaps as a range pair, where you are only trying to understand what people are saying it would be acceptable, but I am very underwhelmed and disappointed in the sound sensitivity. As well as the very noticeable delay in sound processing. For the price I paid, I can’t be too critical. They might be find for casual use, but ultimately, in my honest assessment, the sound delivery and processing is too poor to be effective for my purposes.
