What can I say? I mean, I absolutely love these knives. I love everything Dalstrong. Ever since I purchased my first Dalstrong product, which I believe was a pair of cooking tweezers, I have been obsessed with their website & subsequently their knives & such. Yes, they are a bit on the pricey side, HOWEVER, they are MORE than WORTH every single DOLLAR you invest. Take the time to visit their website, look at their videos, YouTube, Instagram, etc.; do your research. See for yourselves just how much time, effort, and dedication they put into creating their products. Their knife series' are not only creative but aesthetically appealing & they actually get the job done. They are strong, durable beautiful knives. If I had enough space in my house, I would collect them all! They are sharp right out of the box & they work so smoothly & make life just so much easier in the kitchen. I love to cook. I enjoy all the chopping, cutting, etc. I can spend hours in the kitchen cooking & I would be in heaven & having Dalstrong products to help me along the way just makes it that much more enjoyable for me. Please do yourself a favor. If you love cooking as much as I do, invest in a set of good quality durable knives that will last you a lifetime. I am not done yet. I am still aiming for the Shogun collection. Luckily I have 2 kitchens in my house so I have an excuse to get a second set of high-quality knives. Dalstrong is my go-to & I highly recommend them to all you home cooks & professional chefs as well since some professional chefs are already taking advantage of these amazing quality knives. And lets not forget about the hunters, fishermen, butchers, etc., they have knives for everyone. I can't brag about their products enough. You just gotta go check out their website. But be prepared to spend hours on your computer because once I got on, I could not stop window shopping. My wish list just keeps growing every day. Yes, I visit their website at least once a day. I am not exaggerating... I give them 10 out of 10 stars THANK YOU FOR CARING DALSTRONG FAMILY!

Looks Sexy...But Cheap, Flimsy Product With Nonexistent Customer Service To Match!

UPDATE - 6th knife that now has the tip broke off! Thanks for absolutely NOTHING Dalstrong!! USELESS / Non-existant customer service. What a bunch of scrap metal junk! We use a couple of Chef knives in the $350-$450 range each and utility kitchen knives in the $150 - $250 range as our daily home kitchen knives and have high-quality steak knives for our personal use and those times we want to impress. We entertain a lot and when guests are wanting to cook, that is the set of knives was specifically bought for them to use (so they keep their paws off our good knives!). We are no strangers to the kitchen and no strangers to knives and their proper care as we cook, hunt and fish and take pride in our tools. The same cannot be said for this bargain set, as there is nothing to be proud of except the aesthetics as it really is a sexy looking block set. 1 year in (April 2018) and we are already down 1 steak knife, accidentally dropped by a guest, and it broke into 3 pieces - I DON"T EVEN KNOW HOW THAT IS POSSIBLE! The tip split and broke into 2 pieces from counter height. 1 steak knife the tip is broken from putting it back into the block slots (it caught near the bottom of the slot and broke the tip-off. The exact same thing happened to the Chef's knife - tip broke off putting it back into the block. 2 other steak knives have bent at the tip from putting them back into the block, but I was able to straighten and sharpen a point with some finesse. I have contacted Dalstrong several times over the past month and I have yet to hear back from them - wonder if this will get their attention now maybe??!! This entire set cost less than my daily Chef knives so I shouldn't be surprised at the quality, but given the great reviews, we thought we'd give them a shot. Waste of money! We now (embarrassingly) have a knife set for guests that are broken and missing knives. This set stays on the kitchen counter because it looks great, but the durability and functionality are embarrassing to the point that we will donate this to charity because it's useless to us. This set at this price point would actually work great for anyone that actually just needs a set, but with very low expectations of their knives quality. Everyone LOVES the look of the block set. It looks sexy on the kitchen counter and we've received lots of compliments on the block set, but who cares if the knives are flimsy and break at the first sign of stress on the steel. The block itself looks great, but the slots are not the correct size for the blades to rest-in correctly. Because of the large width and length of the opening, you'd better have a surgeon's precision on putting them back in their pace, because the tips way too easily hit the wood, stick into it and bend the tips! ZERO customer services, but hell they have our money and don't give a damn, so lesson learned. If you don't really care about knives or quality and are just looking for something pretty to put on display, then this is the set for you! If you actually care about knives and the tools that they are, then DO NOT BUY because after a year or two, you'll be left with an incomplete set of garbage blades with ZERO (Nonexistent) customer service like we are. Thanks for absolutely nothing Dalstrong. Do better and quit scamming us with your junk steel and terrible craftsmanship.
