Logitech MX Ergo Wireless Trackball Mouse

I have bought three of these over the years. It's one of the best (only?) wireless trackballs out there and definitely the only option if you prefer the thumb controlled ball. It's nice that it connects to two devices and is smooth rolling and easy to use. I wish it had a USB-C charger. The A connector is very hard to use and in an awkward position for seeing when you need to charge it. But the real issue with these is the complete LACK of durability. I bought this mouse eight months ago and the button now double clicks when you hit it. Rubbing alcohol can revive it a bit, but you run the risk of the spring failing and then it won't click and return at all. The mouse isn't even a year old! I would buy another brand of wireless thumb trackball mouse in a heartbeat if there was one. But Logitech has cornered the market, raised the price excessively, and are now apparently in the process of lowering the quality. They are enshittifying it. A computer mouse is an essential tool for productivity and this tool is excellent for preventing wrist strain and RSI. But I feel like Logitech has me hostage and I have to "subscribe" to their mouse and buy a new one every year. Logitech, DO BETTER!
