Be careful what you buy

These sunglasses look nice. I purchased them from the website and I never had a real pair of sunglasses before so was excited when these arrived. Unfortunately i wore them and was very disappointed. I seemed to squint just as much as I would with no sunglasses! I just assumed they were not good glasses until someone tested them out against different glasses and told me they weren't polarized! I specifically ordered these because I thought they were polarized. The website only gave 2 options: standard and prizm. Underneath the options it gave the description of prizm polarized vs. standard. So I assumed the prizm polarized was the second option. Apparently I was wrong. When I contacted oakley they said that they couldn't do anything for me. I had purchased them a little over 30 days and that was past the return point even though the website was misleading and I had never worn them. Basically I spent over $180 for sunglasses I could have purchased for $20 at the supermarket. Go with ray-ban. They don't mislead you. Or pretty much any other brand. I ended up buying a pair of Field and Stream glasses for $20 from the sports store that were polarized and UV protectant. They are the same style and you can't tell the difference as far as they look, but the polarization makes a big difference in how they perform. Watch what you're getting.
