Gibson Home Antique Quilt 48-Piece Dinnerware Set

I ordered this set as a replacement to my Ikea set that was chipped and missing a small plate. I also wanted a set for 8 that was simple yet elegant. This set really fit the bill. The dishes are beautiful and I feel like they are timeless and all-seasonal. One of my biggest concerns was shipping. With such a large set, I was worried that some pieces would break in transit. I'm very happy to say that this set was VERY well packaged. Not only was each piece wrapped well, but the main box was put into a larger box, which also came in an even larger box. My first thought was that this might be overkill, but in retrospect, this probably helped keep the pieces in tact. I was also not really interested in 8 tea cups (they aren't exactly large enough to be called coffee mugs) but found they were actually three perfect addition to the hot chocolate station I set up in my home. I was also pleased to learn that it is dishwasher and microwave safe. I did microwave one of the mugs and the handle didn't overheat.
