Expect some shrinkage

I opened the package and they were nice and soft. I washed one in hot water with the rest of my towels and on high heat in the dryer. These are cotton so I expected them to shrink, which they did, but not too badly, maybe 2 inches in length and one in width, comparing it to one I had not washed. It remained the soft touch after washing. These are a good replacement for some of my kitchen towels that have seen better days and will now go to the rag pile.

Not as thick or absorbent as expected (and based on other reviews). Definitely not a replacement for my favorite williams sonoma kitchen towel (even with the higher price point).
