Dunhill Fir Pre-Lit Full Christmas Tree

got a tree a few years back from walmart, had a turning base, pre lit, fairly realistic looking, but my partner wanted an upgrade. see this one on amazon. had the typical 4.X stars, amazons choice label, and it was in a sale. heck it was almost as inexpensive as the old walmart tree. What could go wrong?! I open the box... it reeeeeeks of plastic. the branches were just these taped up steel rods with the "foliage" looking like the ugly offspring of astroturf and lametta plastic strips. it looked like they cobbled this tree from the leftover junk from making better trees from recycled beach chairs and all the green plastic straws that starbucks threw away when they wanted to make a big show about their love of sea turtles. I don't want to put too fine a point on it but I can probably whip out a better simulated tree using spray paint, glue, an old tv radial antenna and a few dozen ikea bags, then again, i don't want to give them any great ideas for free.
