Pilot Electronics Flameless eLighter

Product was defective out of the box. Did not function whatsoever even after charging and troubleshooting. Terrible build quality, ugly 2000s era silver color when viewed IRL. Even went as far as to solder a USB-C charging port to replace the flimsy default plug, still didn't charge.

I have a much older metal version of this lighter that no longer works, this was the only replacement I could find. I was concerned about how cheap this plastic version felt but gave it a good try. I’m impressed. It works. Seems sturdy enough (for my uses) so far. Charge lasts about 3/4 of advertised, which is good enough for me. Overall, it’s the one I pick up every time I choose which lighter to use and it’s working great still without being annoying about recharging time. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The build quality is cheap plastic. It does work, and it works well when trying to light in the wind. The hole is big enough only for cigarettes, so this is what the intended use is for. For the low sale price, it gets the job done. Small enough to fit in pockets. Be gentle with it, and you will get many uses out of it.

Has never worked, made with cheap plastic and feel it could break in my hand at any time. Could not charge either lighter, purchased 2. I would have gotten more satisfaction throwing $7 out the car window.

Housing appears to be metal but is cheap plastic and has the weight and flimsiness of same; the metal coil doesn’t seem to get hot enough: it sometimes will light a cigarette but most of the time will not, and most importantly the usb port for charging it is buggy, it needs to be in precisely the right spot to charge, meaning you plug it in and then flick it with your finger until the blue light comes on but then it goes right back off again so you flick it some more until it finally remains lit indicating it’s charging. This amount of effort makes it worthless. Not worth the $3 i bought it for.

Cool Lil lighter, seems flimsy buts serves its purpose... Only issue is, the hole where you insert the cig into to light it is about the same size as the cig in diameter!! Need to get it in with pin point accuracy so they make contact otherwise it won't light, it's like threading a needle at 1st, if you have bad vision or have the shakes you're in trouble.

Brought 2, Charge only last about 2 days at most and is good for about 15 lights. Opening for cigarettes is very small and difficult to get the cigarettes in to light properly. Would not buy again and do not recommend!

I had first purchased one of these lighters about 4 or 5 years ago, and was quite pleased with it. However over the years it started to lose its charge, and then finally it would not charge at all. I then decided to get a new one to replace it, and found that the material used for the case was a much lighter metal than was previously used, resulting in a less robust feel. It still does its job as it should, so I can't fault it for that.

It’s rechargeable, flameless, and works perfectly even in windy conditions. The sleek silver design is stylish, and it’s a great eco-friendly alternative.
