This is your best choice

This case is truly everything you need for the surface 3 if you are willing to sacrifice some portability. Pros: -Great protection -All ports (but the SD card) are exposed and reqachable (the case can be easily taken off though!) -Has a place for the pen (which is extremely useful if you are like me and you don't remember where you put the keys all the time..). -Fits nicely with the keyboard (typecover can fold completely behind the case). -The edges of the case nicely cover the tempered glass screen protector I use and do not interfier with it. -Adjustable angles are extremely useful and the kickstand has a bette3r gripp on the table the the surfaes kickstand itself (it does not move when u lean on it while using the pen to write or draw). -UPDATE: AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (see the end of the review) ***I do not know wether the company heard the complains about the off buton being pressed and causing the surface to shut down- but for me it simply DOESN'T happen at all so they might have fixed it. Cons: Just 1 small thing. I love the elegant design of the surface 3. This case is nice looking, but it takes away from the beauty and simplicty of the surface 3 (then again if you choose to go with a case an not with a clear full body decal skin, it will always be compromised, and the case is a good fit and and attempts to let the back of your surface shine through!). That's it! over all i would give this product a 9/10. I bought a few other cases and when they get here I will set up a youtube review to help you choose! I feel like it deserves a lot more credit than it gets on amazon sice there are really not a lot of options out there for thesurface 3. hope this helps:) Oh and by the way- I said it earlier but, if you are a student and you think you will use it write in class and take notes- the adjustable angles are extremely important (at least to me). also- i personally put the surface with the case inside a sleeve to cover it before putting it in the bag, it fits nicely into an 11.6" case. UPDATE!! the Hinge is not a ROCK do NOT lean on it like on a notebook! it will break! thats what happened to me. I messaged the CUSTOMER SERVICE on the STM official website, uploaded a few pictures to show them what happened and THEY SENT ME A REPLACEMENT CASE FREE OF CHARGE! NO QUESTIONS ASK. It took about a week for it to get here by a delivery guy, EXTREMLY QUICK FOR international shipping! THANKS STM for a wonderful experience!! That is exactly what you expect from a case in this price range, truly amazing! Great product!

Glitch City

First let you know i used to teach with surface pros, so not unfamiliar but this is more issues and difficult to use. Screen touch on apps so poor you are forced to by a stylus. Internet crashed constantly until I turned off Windows defender active security...what good is a security system that crashes the internet say selecting items on a take out menu? Last and most annoying the screen keyboard is limited and must have yet another secret to get the full one working...again its supposed to be easy to use not harder....now it is either switch constantly (no alt button) or buy a blutooth keyboard,,,,in short clumsy, crappy and glitchy interface for user...Final update. It's taken 3 attempts to load update to OS which has now been a day an 1/2...STILL TERRIBLE INTERNET. Nothing I've tried fixes it from crashing on chrome, explorer and edge (all up to date). My wifi is 200 mps and never crashes on other computers so it's definitely this terrible device. Support of course is near impossible with Microsoft. I should have bought and I pad or full laptop
