Sunbeam Flexible Neck LED Desk Lamp

I purchased the NEW SUNBEAM FLEXIBLE NECK LED DESK LAMP ADJUSTABLE LIGHT ENERGY STAR BLACK to replace an older LED desk lamp that I had. My eyes are light sensitive so when shopping for my last desk lamps replacement, I was looking for something bright enough to see my desktop but not so bright as to irritate my eyes. Also, I didn't want to pay a lot of $$ for just a basic lamp. I liked that the Sunbeam lamp was smaller in size (I don't have much desk real estate) and that it was at the price point I was willing to spend. The fact that it has 3 brightness settings was also a plus for me as I'd hoped at least one of the settings would be "just right". It is not a 'warm' (as in amber) white but thankfully and more importantly, it is not that stark 'blue-white' light that can be harsh on the eyes. I have noticed that none of the settings bother my eyes at all. It does perfectly well on it's brightest setting lighting up my desktop at night but also does just as well on it's other, dimmer settings for daytime when I don't need so much light. The finish has a velvety non-reflective look and feel so there is no glare to distract or irritate me. A very light touch dims the light. The base of the lamp is weighted so I doubt an accidental tip over is likely. The lamp neck is easily adjustable and stays where you focus it. The only feature I would like to see is a soft glow or dim light surrounding the on/off button. Because the lamp coating is non-reflective and the button isn't lit, it's a bit difficult to find the light in a dark room. If you're looking for a noontime bright-as-the-sun light over your desk, this one may not be for you; likewise, if you're looking for more settings or a usb port or any other features, you'll have to invest more $$. This one is basic and does the job well. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. :)
