AquaBliss Multi Stage Shower Filter

I was having severe problems with my scalp and my doctor told me the area I live has highly treated/chlorinated water. My scalp was BAD for over a year I tried every kind of scalp treatment imaginable. I honestly thought to myself “my god what if I have cancer” bcause I was losing GIANT clumps of hair after every shower, and my scalp was always red, irritated, itchy, and literally peeling off my head like my entire head looked like it snowed. It was THAT BAD. It was disgusting. It was affecting my life, literally I didn’t even want to leave my house bcause I was so disgusted with my dandruff and scalp. So my doctor recommended that I should buy a shower water filter and suggested Amazon. So after some research and reading hundreds of product reviews for many different products, I ordered the AquaBliss High Output Revitalizing Shower Filter. IT. WAS. AMAZING. It literally CHANGED MY LIFE. With the FIRST USE there was a noticeable difference and within 3 uses/showers my scalp was almost totally cleared up. Within 2 weeks my scalp was 100% (literally, not an exaggeration it was 100%) cleared up. I was losing NO hair at shower time, and I had ZERO redness, irritation, and no more peeling of my scalp. I was over the moon I can’t describe my happiness. So after a couple months it started coming back I knew it was time to replace the filters so I ordered these corresponding Aqua Bliss replacement filters; a 3-pack. The minute I put the first replacement filter in it was like there was no filter in at all. They did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to filter the water the way the original product did. It was absolute trash. So I used it for a bit hoping it would get better.. it got worse. So I took it out and put the second replacement filter from the package in the mechanism… it was even worse than the first replacement. It’s like I never even had a filter in at all. I don’t know if it’s intentional fraud on the part of the manufacturer, or they just think people won’t notice the difference.. but for someone like me, I NOTICE. The pictures show the issues with my scalp that have returned after using the replacement filters, and these pictures are toned down as I can’t even get good angles of how severe the issues are. I’m so disappointed. Luckily, Amazon gave me a full refund for these filters so I can order a different brand that will actually work. I’m so bummed out. I thought since the original product was such a godsend that I could just use the advertised replacements and carry on with life. Nope. It’s back to being an utter nightmare. Installing the replacements is incredibly basic.. you unscrew the mechanism, put the filter in mesh side up, and screw it back on. I can read instructions. They’re not being installed incorrectly. They literally just don’t work. Don’t order these. Order a different brand of replacement filter. Aqua Bliss makes a terrific original product, but their replacement filters are trash.
