I am not happy with the friction. I think it is enough to noticably affect how easy it is to pedal your cranks. You have to realize that the friction adds to pedaling friction since these have to spin in order for your crank to spin, since your foot is on it. Understand? So the friction all adds up to the total of effort needed to pedal. That is one issue. The system also starts squeaking so quickly. I bought 3 of these and all of them squeak within a week. Some you can hear every pedal, some only when pedaling softly or slowly. Still, annoying! I love the low profile but the pins are such that the overall shape is convex, not concave, so there's too much pressure focused on the center of your foot and not around it, which is not good for grip actually! Overall I think the design needs some work. So close, but so far.
