Nice mechanical keyboard

I recently set up an old linux desktop with this keyboard for my son to learn how computer works. While he still prefers to use Mac, he loves to type on this keyboard. So he practices typing using LibreOffice. I am also happy with the build quality and the feel/sound that comes out of the keyboard. You can certainly find other keyboards out there that feel much better and are made with higher quality materials, but you would have to pay more for those. My son is having much better typing experience with this keyboard. I just bought another one for his younger brother. Maybe it will transform into a gaming keyboard someday.

Not what I expected

I got this keyboard for the office. I thought it would be nice to have since I'm in the IT industry and I type all day. When you think of Alienware, you think of top quality. This keyboard is mediocre at best. It does not have any tactile feel what so ever. The feedback you get from each key is no different than the keyboard we get from the Dell precision desktops. The keys are not Cherry MX browns. You get what you pay for.
