Don't like going to the gym and skeptical of home workout systems? This was the perfect system for me.

I was looking for home gym equipment due to not having a lot of time or energy to go to the gym lately - I just hate the concept of driving to a gym, changing clothes, working out, then changing back, etc. Because of this hassle, I found myself skipping gym days a lot. I got the BodyBoss last week, and found myself working out longer and taking more reps and sets just because I can do it while watching TV or knocking out some other tasks in the comfort of my apartment (perfect for multitasking). The base platform is great for shoulder presses, squats, triceps and biceps, and I found the door anchors to be incredibly useful for doing my chest and back. The bands are strong, and bring quite a bit of resistance (especially when you use 2 bands on each side!). I got my muscles burning with this fairly easily. When I was researching, I found that most other home gyms take up a LOT of space, which my apartment doesn't have. I found the BodyBoss + a pullup bar to be the most effective workout equipments for a home gym, in terms of cost, workout quality, AND space consumption. Another reason for the 5-stars is the customer service. They are extremely responsive and helpful when I had questions for them! Only (minor) gripe would be the carrying bag is a bit small, but even that's not a big deal. Excellent system!

Good product, NON existent support

The product feels quite sturdy and versatile, yet the support (customer service) practically is a joke. They do send you a few emails, but they never followed up when I had questions or comments. The company also appears to make false claims: in the papers that came with the product they state that they have this online workouts service called Club Body Boss for which they offer a basic, free version and a plus, paid one. The truth appears to be that unless you subscribe and pay monthly for the premium version, you have no alternative, namely no free, basic service at all. I pointed this issue to them and got no response whatsoever (and no, it did not end up in my spam folder). Furthermore the free workout videos they have online (the usual YouTube) look rather amateurish and one of them, that with the strenuous boxing exercise led me to hurt my wrists, with scratches and bruises I am still trying and recovering from after 2 weeks! Again I sent them feedback about this being, at least for some of their customer, a possible major issue, but received no response, none, zero. It is a real shame that a product with clear potential should be let down so badly by lack of support. Perhaps the company is having financial problems and can't pay adequately their staff? Pity!
