Best keyboard combo ever

I have had 5 of these Logitech MK570 Wireless Keyboard and mice and always come back to the same one for comfort and functional. They are very easy to set up and have a ton of functions for media, office, sleep mode and built-in key scrambling.

Not like before

As another reviewer pointed out, the mouse has been redesigned somewhat. The look and feel are really close to what i remember, but the functionality is off. I would not recommend anyone buying this combo. This is like 4th combo set (same model numbers) ive bought over the span of like 15 years or so. The last time i owned one was likely 8 or so years ago, and i always loved it. The keyboard is comfortable and the shape feels ergonomically natural for me, i like the feel of when the keys are pressed. Not all the "extra" buttons work out the box, since they were originally intended for windows vista i believe, but most do work. no big deal for me. The mouse also feels good as far as material and workmanship. The scroll-wheel is where i found an issue. At first it felt really smooth and had a crisp feel to it (a good thing), but then i noticed that "crisp feel" seemed like it was making the scroll-wheel retract a few clicks. If i scrolled up and let go, it would scroll back down a few clicks. I felt like it was a little tight (but not too tight) and i figured it was due to it being new. Maybe just needed to get broken in. Waited a week, daily use for a few hours mon-fri, heavy use sat-sun. Issue did not go away. The scroll-wheel would initiate on its own if i moved the mouse too suddenly, or if i lifted the mouse and place it back down. I requested an exchange, which i got. The new one doesnt have the crisp feel, it seems "looser", and i said to myself "yup, that was likely the issue, too tight". but the problem persists with the new one. not anywhere near as bad though, luckily. i was a fan of this combo for years. im gonna take my loss and suck it up, possibly go with another brand soon and keep this combo as a spare. whatever was changed about the scroll-wheel, it was not for the better. something else to consider, i been using normal setup/layout keyboards for past few years, home and work. if you use the "end" key, you will get frustrated with this layout. im constantly hitting the page down key instead. so i gotta get used to this setup at home, and the normal setup at work now. The end key is in a harder to reach spot on this layout. it didnt bother me before because i didnt use that key much before.
