Was skeptical after reading the reviews about the proper temperature but mine is within one degree of my thermometer. Seems to be a good quality product at a very good price. Love the way my roasts turn out. A must for anyone that likes rare of semi rare meat. Very convenient and easy to use. Can not over cook with it! After it's done you can leave it in for hours and it will still be perfect! Just take it out and run a torch over it for a few minutes and presto! A perfectly cooked roast. Also works well for reheating!

Great inexpensive sous vide solution.

Update mine just died and I’ve used it a handful of times. Will see how customer service is. I was very skeptical of a inexpensive sous vide machine. If you are looking for a inexpensive sous vide solution I would highly recommend this product. I noted the reviews and decided it was cheap enough to give it a try. Keep in mind I also have a sansaire sous vide machine as well to compare this to. The temp was not exact but who's to say my digital thermometer was exact as well. The unit isnt made out of high grade materials but it works and did its job. I do wish it had a removable power cord but again it's inexpensive and did its job amazingly well for the price.
