Quality not consistent

I ordered 2 sets of these notebooks for my teens, and one set is completely different than the other. Covers are very flimsy, the look of the paper is very different. I'm not certain what could explain these differences, but I'm not happy with the set that is absolutely not of the quality I have experienced and expect from this brand.
