Great Bow at a Great Price!
By Happy Fella on Reviewed in the United States on August 7, 2018
This was the second crossbow I have ever owned, and for $300, I don't think you can beat it. This thing is loaded with power! When you pull the trigger you get the feel of firing a rifle! I'll go over the pros and cons to keep this thesis organized: Pros: Balances well in the shooting position, and has little recoil and noise when you pull the trigger. Fairly easy to assemble, although the instructions would have been clearer had they used good line illustrations instead of overexposed black and white photos. The composite stock, aluminum parts, and overall manufacturing are in keeping with a lot of higher-end crossbows. The hard rubber portions of the bow also appear to be of good quality--not too hard or soft--with a comfy cheek rest. The Realtree graphics are both clear and natural-looking, with the right balance of ebony parts for visual interest. Fairly easy to cock, with a good anti-dry fire safety mechanism. Cons: Bolts are of low-end quality. In fact, one of them broke off inside my crossbow target after only 3 shots. Scope is low end too. Focus lacks crispness, and accuracy is a guessing game, whether you are 10 yards away or 40. Stirrup could be a little bigger, especially for a guy like me with an 11EE width foot. Plus, hunting boots tend to run wide. Conclusion: Definitely worth the money as a bow in and of itself. The "package" however, leaves a few things to be desired. Quiver is of decent quality, and is attachable from either side. However, I don't use bow quivers because they obviously increase the weight when you are shooting the bow. I prefer hip quivers, because you can carry more bolts, while you hold only the crossbow. Get yourself a good lighted crossbow scope, some decent bolts, and maybe a sling or carrying strap, and you'll have a great bow for hunting or target shooting!

You get what you pay for...

I bought this for the late season last year. My first problem was one of the limb screws had the head snap off while I was assembling the x-bow. Then the scope needed some serious tuning out of the box. It needed over 75 click up. Two of the arrows it came with were destroyed/buried in the first few shoots due to this. Next thing is first time I brought it out in the field a branch got between the quiver and the arms and the quiver bracket snapped like a twig. They sent me another one but wanted to charge me at first. It took some convincing but they agreed to send another one for free. I go out again, as I was climbing this hill I tripped over some brush and the Bow fell 2 feet at most before it landed on a pile of leaves and guess what? The damn quiver bracket broke again. Come on center point use aluminum or some better polymer !! These are for hunting and need to be built with some quality. I'm never going to buy another Centerpoint product. I don't want to deal with the constant problems their engineers come up with. I mean come on where is the quality control, all this happened to me with in 2 hours of handling the product!!! Pass on this if you can afford a better one. I'm over here waiting for the limbs to explode on me lol
