Thumbs Up!! Fast, Fast, FAST

I've waited a month or so to review. I love this scanner! It's fast, scans both sides of the paper, and has TWAIN capabilities. It's perfect for my needs. The footprint is small, and so it fits quite nicely next to my monitor. The scanning software is easy to use and offers several options as to settings. You can also create custom settings. It took a couple of calls to Ambir for setup, but after that, the scanner worked perfectly. You should know that the scanner shuts down quickly to conserve energy, so it has to be manually turned on before atempting to scan. Before using the TWAIN function, I have to check to make sure the scanner isn't dormant. DOWNSIDE It doesn't seem to be able to handle a stack of papers. It often jams, so I have to feed just a few sheets at once.

Sold as new - it was USED

I bought this unit from this Amazon Seller "Good-DeAIZ-online" The unit would not connect - the driver did not work. So I called Ambir support and tried every suggestion I found online. I gave the serial number to Ambir support. The machine was several years old and used, not refurbished just USED! My advice is to support the small business sellers but Beware of the Seller if not Prime.
