HICKIES 2 Performance No-Tie Laces

These work on all the SHOES I have used them on. I need to alter the pattern of installation on different shoes, but I do not have any shoes that these do not work on. I have tried some other designs of this type of product, but Hickies are the best I have found to replace laces. All my shoes slip on and off and fit well for normal use (I would not use them on running shoes, if I still was into running). They do not last forever but replacing an odd tie or two occasionally will not discourage me from using these in the future. I do have a few pairs of boots, a 6 inch pair and an 8 inch pair, that have laces, and they will continue to use laces. The key to the boots for me is that they are side-zip. Once the laces are adjusted properly, the laces never need to be touched. The side zippers on the boots make getting them on and off very easy. I fitted the 6 inch pair with Hickies once, but the effort to put them on with or without using the side zip feature was not a noticeable benefit over the laces. I actually prefer the fit of the boots with laces in place of the flexible Hickies. That said, the first thing I do with new shoes is take off the laces and install Hickies. Again, these are the best.
