Best vacuum I've ever owned!
By Preston Cole on Reviewed in the United States on May 5, 2018
This is hands down the best vacuum I’ve ever owned. It’s easy to handle, it has incredibly powerful suction and it is very easy to clean and maintain. As a dog owner, I vacuum nearly daily. My Dyson keeps my carpet fluffy and clean, and my hard wood floors completely dust free. With a self-contained extension hose with accessories mounted on the canister, this vacuum makes cleaning open floors and hard to reach places easy. I’ll outline some pros and cons: Pros: *Incredible suction! The cyclonic bagless design keeps suction constant even as the canister fills up with debris. Seriously the most powerful vacuum I’ve ever used. *Easy to navigate – With the heaviest components such as the motor and fan blades housed inside the ball on the floor, the vacuum is very easy to navigate. No drag as it’s pushed or pulled, and very light in the hand as compared to more traditional upright models. The added bonus of the rotating brush reel head allows for easy turns and navigation. *Automatic airflow change – when the vacuum is in the floor setting, it automatically switches airflow to the brush reel head. When in an upright position, airflow automatically changes to the accessory hose. A nice touch compared to models with a valve to rotate. *Easy to clean canister – the canister easily lifts off the vacuum, and with a button on top to release the bottom, emptying and cleaning this canister is neat and tidy with little to no spillage outside your trash can. *Easy to clean brush reel – with two small releases to remove the guard covering the brush reel, it’s easy to clean out strings and hairs which might have gotten tangled in the brush reel. *Easily replaced and cleaned filters – with an easily removed canister filter which is designed to be washed in the sink, and an easily removed hepa filter on the ball, filters are affordable to replace and easy to remove and reinstall. *Great attachments – With a furniture and floor attachment in one, and a crevasse and brush tool in one – this vacuum only needs two compact accessory tools to accomplish any task needed. *Automatic adjustment from hard surface to carpet – while other vacuums might have a manual height adjustment – the Dyson Ball has a brush reel which automatically adjusts to the dept needed to clean any surface. Cons: The brush reel is narrower as compared to some other models – while it may take more passes to clean a room, easy navigation and a light design makes up for this.

Dyson is great, but don’t expect a refund if…
By Memitt on Reviewed in the United States on August 4, 2023
…Your refurbished item stops working fully in a month. They’ll give you three months to return the item supposedly. I paid $305 for a refurbished vacuum and the roller brush stopped working in a month. They authorized a return. I had to remind them that they received a return and that it was sitting in the warehouse and could they kindly inspect it so I could get my refund. Then they refunded me for zero dollars which turned out to be a restocking fee. I wouldn’t have returned the vacuum cleaner at all had known they were going to do that. I would’ve at least kept a partially working vacuum. I’ve had Dysons for almost 20yrs. This was disappointing. Thankfully Amazon helped me out after I escalated it. :/
