My boyfriend loves his, They are perfect yet my feet still hurt
By Meagan on Reviewed in the United States on July 24, 2023
Review update: all my issues were the result of user error and medical issues broke down and went to Dr who believes I pulled and aggrevated my ankle muscle while wearing the thinner sole shoes, my Ortho ordered x-rays and a growing bone spur on my heel was discovered so the pain in my feet have nothing to do with the newbalance shoes. I now where a pair of ankle socks and no more rubbing my skin of the back of my ankle and 2pair of socks cushions my little toe from the composite toes......and my feet feel better even knowing I have ongoing medical issues causing them pain and discomfort Original review: First off.....I have actually medically diagnosed feet issues so please remember this when your reading my review My mom (yes I'm almost 39 but when my ex husband of 17 years left with all our money and items of value while kidnapping our kids I did break down and ask my mom for help) spent $3k buying me super fancyshoe inserts that actually helped my feet feel better, I've had them for a couple years now and it's been life-changing I was taking this for granted and buying cheapwalmart boots for my warehouse job unaware newbalance (the brand recommended by past podiatrist) made boots so when I found them on sale and further clearances cause it didn't come in the original box I jumped on them, they were the same price if not less than 2 pair of the cheap Walmart boots that only lasted about 3 months before completely falling apart A coworker ordered the wrong size of a different brand of shoes and gave them to me, the soles were industeuctible and flexible but still so thin my feet instantly hated them on the plants concrete floors so when I found these boots I jumped on them and I do not regret to t but t it has been almost a week of wearing them and my feet still hurt despite the snug and firm fit making them feel amazing The composit soul rubs on my baby toe and I honestly regret not spending more time breaking them in so that is my fault On a positive note, my 50 something year I old boyfriend loved how mine looked so much he had me buy him a pair, his first ts perfectly, no rubbing Ng toes, did nothing to break them in and has had absolutely not foot pain at all.....so yeah, that's a punch in the gut for me that my feet are such premadannas

Bruised big toes, damaged toe nails
By Santos5777 on Reviewed in the United States on October 27, 2023
It's the second time I buy these, the first time I did not want to blame these shoes because I was already suffering from foot injuries and thought prior injuries were the cause. This time around I am 110 percent sure it is these shoes that cause that. On the very first day both my big toe nails were dark and purplish with internal bleeding. It might be my freakish over sized toes ,but this never happens with other work boots, not even regular width (these were extra wide, one size wider than wide 4E) and these boots have extra depth (the height of toe case) ! I don't understand how it happens but I am very positively sure it has only happened to twice (the two times I've worn these boots) . Other than that they are comfortable and rugged. If only they wouldn't hurt my big toes , they would be awesome. I have pictures but for some reason they don't show up when Amazon opens my gallery.
