Perfect for what I needed

This little alarm clock is just what I have been looking for. My New Year's Resolution was to spend less time on my phone this year, and one of the ways I have cut back is by not sleeping with my phone next to my bed. My only hold up was not having an alarm clock, so I went searching. I found this and it has been perfect for the job. It is tiny, easy to set, easy to turn on and off, loud enough to wake me up, and isn't anything fancy. It does have the date and temperature, which is fine, but no extra radio, music player, phone charger, etc etc. Just a simple alarm clock. It is easy to fold up to take on trips, and doesn't take up much space on the nightstand. I have had it for just over a month now, and no issues with the battery, although that is the only thing that has me a little weary because there is not plug to charge if needed. So far though, not an issue. This would make a great alarm clock if you need something for business travel, or if you are like me and just didn't want anything big and fancy taking up space on the night stand.

Okay for light sleepers on the road

Lately I've been having an issue with my iPhone in that the alarm does not sound. The screen still looks like the alarm is going off, but there's no sound. Based on my research, this seems to be a common issue. Given that I travel a lot for work, I picked this up as a backup alarm. In general, it's just okay. It is sometimes difficult to see the display from the wrong angle. It also isn't very loud. However, the main driver behind my rating is due to this: when utilizing snooze mode, the alarm turns off permanently after three snoozes. The alarm only buzzes for one minute before auto-snoozing. Therefore, if you don't wake up during one of the three one minute periods of noise, your alarm will shut off and you'll sleep on. I have no idea why this auto-shutoff exists, but it makes the entire device practically worthless for a deep sleeper like me.
