Excellent product!!!!

This quality of the tire carrier is amazing, but as others have stated the instructions are lacking a little. Probably the most confusing part is that the hardware is not sorted and labeled. Most of the bolts, nuts and washers are all together in one large bag. After sorting it all out and reading the instructions a few times, the install went well. I installed this carrier with the 2012 Call of Duty AEV rear bumper and had to drill a 5/8” hole in the supplied frame mount spindle bracket so that it would bolt into the AEV bumper nuts. Because of this, I did not need the frame bracket several people have said they had to order separately. The Fit and finish of the powder coated parts is really, really nice! It’s very heavily made and doesn’t rattle at all as some have mentioned. I’ve got a 37” tire mounted on it and am impressed with the final results. I couldn’t be happier with the value of this carrier since it was half the price of the similar AEV carrier. Well done Smittybilt!! Oh, and Four Wheel Parts shipped it to me in a day and a half for free and it was not Prime. Nice work!

Easy if you have good tools and are good with them. Tedious to adjust at the turnbuckle and the pivot bracket. Once it’s done and you have your tire on, take it for a drive chances are you’re still gonna have to make adjustments. Same for when mounting rotopax tanks. Must select proper height of bracket or it will hit your rear windshield wiper. Once it’s done though it looks great and functions the same.note that it doesn’t come with rotopax mounts those you buy separately. Very happy with it though once it’s all adjusted looks and rises nice

Just as the title states, this does not come with the hardware needed to use with the 10A bumper. As others have noted the instructions are TERRIBLE but the overall quality & value of the carrier are good. I've taken it offroad a couple times already & no more noise than stock.

It’s cool looking for sure , but the instructions are terrible , the wrong hardware came with it . My tailgate feels way heavier than it did before , I used to just swing it shut easily now , it’s a workout . This would have gotten 5 stars if it didn’t rattle sooo much , & I also had to buy a behind wheel third tail light so the original third tail light cable could reach .

The directions were not that great what a how to on YouTube instead! The bumper seems good though it looks good and we are not experiencing any rattle as of the first 30 days

The instructions were terrible. Holes needed to be reamed out for the mating parts. The 3 "lug nuts" were loose in their holes and required a trip to Lowes to find a thin nut to keep them in place when mounting the spare tire. Ended up with additional parts and assume they are for mounting a jack or something else to the tire carrier, but again, the instructions were terrible and do not explain what they are for. I still need to fine tune the tire carrier so it does not rattle as bad as it is.
