Excellent sound quality and volume
By Mycroft on Reviewed in the United States on October 22, 2022
I got this product because I needed another set of earbuds for my iPhone. I got a wired set, but was surprised that I needed to enable Bluetooth to use it, so I went looking for a set that wouldn't emit EM radiation close to my head. I chose this because I liked the size of the little speakers that that are mounted between the air tube and the electrical cord. Having tried it, I'm surprised at both the quality of the sound and the available volume. You obviously don't want it too loud because it could damage your hearing, but from my perspective, the volume capacity is there. Even though they're marketed as a way to avoid EM radiation, they seem to work BETTER than the standard wired earbuds that I've tried. They work WAY better than the wired model that required Bluetooth. There is a caveat. As you know, Apple in their infinite wisdom decided to do away with the standard headphone port, so now they only offer the lightning port. These earbuds REQUIRE a standard headphone jack, so I also ordered a lightning adapter from UGREEN. These two devices work perfectly. When I first plugged it in, I got a message on my phone saying "Hey, what did you just plug in? Is it a pair of headphones?" I don't know what that was about, but I clicked yes, and the thing works great. Sound quality is great, sound volume is great, phone operation works great. Awesome. Oh, and there's that thing about not having EM radiation close to your head. It came in a very nice case and a few sets of "sport" earbud adapters, and three pairs of adapters in different sizes - it that silicone-like padded part that helps the earbud fit snug in your ear. I couldn't figure out how to use those, but maybe you can. It worked perfectly right out of the box.

Most uncomfortable headphones
By JLB on Reviewed in the United States on May 4, 2020
The sound is fine. It's comparable to my regular headphones (I was using iPhone headphones that come with my phone). I'm mostly using these for conference calls, so don't need great quality. What I found were 2 issues.1) The earbuds keep falling out of my ears. The tube doesn't move as fluidly as a wire and it's heavy with the metal piece it connects to, so if you move, the ear buds kept popping out of my ears. I've tried the other earbud accessories w/ the hooks, but those weren't hooking into the rook of my ear well, so I would jam the ear bud and hook as hard as I could into my ear to stay put, which was very uncomfortable. I tried the plastic hooks, but those loosely clip to the ear buds and loosely sit on my ear, and awkward to put on. They're also uncomfortable on the ear, unless you're used to that.2) I wear hoodies a lot, and the metal joint connected to the end of the tube plus the volume control kept rubbing against the zipper of my hoodie, and I could hear all of that noise. I used the included clip to restrict the tubes from touching the zipper, but that was a delicate balance between the of wire available before the volume control and my head movement. The clip prevented the metal from rubbing on the zipper, but doesn't prevent the ear buds from falling out bc now you're limited to your movement and the tubes flare out like a stethoscope.Overall, it's more grief to use these headphones. These are my first pair of airtubes, so I'm not used to them, so as my first experience with them, they're frustrating to use. It's a bummer bc the sound is good.
