best daily boots on the market
By Logan stanley on Reviewed in the United States on April 26, 2024
extremely comfortable, light, breathable, can double as a pair of shoes with long pants and extremely durable for what they are also there are many people complaining about them falling apart however they are comparing them to boots more than twice as thick and heavy which of course they last longer but i guarantee these are much more enjoyable to wear while they do last.

Great Boot for Indoor Wear
By Nathanael Duty on Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2021
Good boots if you’re not planning to do any work or activity in them. They’re light weight and comfortable; but I guess you trade in durability for comfort. They ripped a small hole within the first two weeks, and within a month of ownership it’s grown to a gapping tear. The worst part is I can’t return or replace them now because they held up just long enough not to be a faulty product. Don’t buy these boots if you’re planning on doing any running, rucking, or outdoor activity.

Best duty boots you can buy. These boots are durable but light and have stood up well to abuse. My pair of Oakley’s has lasted three times as long as my UnderArmor Valsetzs. Good buy.

Combat Boots

I purchased the same size combat boots I always get from every brand. These look great but are a bit too tight and small. Also the material feels a bit low quality. For 10 dollars more you can get standard issue Belleville but not in black. I will probably return these.
A light duty boot with a few nagging problems. Better for dry climates, not great in mud/wet.

I have worn Oakley boots off and on for the last 15 years. My favorite was the old Oakley SI Assault boots that were made in the USA. They were amazing and you could wear them for any reason. These boots are mostly comfortable, although they have an odd rubberized feel when putting on the boot. I prefer a more flat-footed boot. I would consider this "boot" to be more of a "sneaker boot." It is incredibly lightweight, as light as my Asics running shoes or lighter. I have put a lot of miles on these boots in the PNW winter, and let me tell you that they would excel in a dry climate. Even so much as a light muddy trail can put you into a slippery situation, these things feel like you are on ice in some places. You have to be very careful walking over even thin mud surfaces. Even indoors, on some surfaces, they become alarmingly slippery. The boots breath well enough, and they are very fast drying. Great for trail walking or light hikes. They are fairly stylish enough to wear anywhere. I have noticed that after about 5 months of using the boots, the sole seems to be wearing down considerably, which in my opinion, only exacerbates the slippery problems I've been having with it. (It's not a Vibram sole). Overall, I would only "highly" recommend this boot for the right price (<$85) and only for a mostly-dry climate use.
