What a relief it is...
By Julie Sands on Reviewed in the United States on December 24, 2018
I just received my Prospera foot and calf spa yesterday and have only had time to try one of its three massage modes at the time of this writing. So far I am very impressed. I like it even has a nice dust cover, lovely remote, and its sleek look. I do my manicures and pedicures myself and had been quite flummoxed since my older very small foot and hand massager lost one of its functions I felt was necessary for my footbaths. Since that one is shallow and does heat up and still vibrate I can still use it for my manicures to soak my hands but I was quite in need of a proper footbath. Using one of the massage modes on my new Prospera I found it really helps my time management since it buffs my feet as I soak and I spend less time using my hand held foot buffer. I am the type of person that has to have my feet always youthful, soft and supple so I am very thankful for my Prospera foot massager. I look forward to using the other massage modes and will update my review with more details after I do so. UPDATE: 12/26/18 I have begun getting familiar with all the features of my new Prospera Foot and Calf Spa and give it three stars for features but overall still rated it four stars for the results of using it on my feet, they are most supple and soft. I would give it five stars but I do have to move my feet around in the spa as it only has one large set of Shiatsu rollers and could do with a lot more foot jets. The remote also lacks the ability to choose within the three massage settings. The massage button on the control panel must be pressed to do this. Also, the back of the foot spa where the legs rest often is a hard molded plastic without padding. For svelte, sensitive types such as I, it has even caused me to prop a towel behind my legs to cushion them if I want to stretch out more in the foot spa. I also note I have a very nice and narrow size 8 ½ women’s size foot, much thinner than a B width, most likely a double aa width. To buff my toes I place my feet at the very back of my foot spa and angle them both outward and inward to get the rollers to buff my toes. A person with longer feet would need to use a handheld foot buffer to do this as this unit alone would not be able to buff the entire foot with only the one set of rollers. The waterfall effect is also minimal with only two jets. These style units could also be improved if there was a clip to hold the cord and a type of sleeve or compartment to house the remote and manual. On mine I taped the plastic bag with the remote and manual to the side of the unit and found a larger wired tie to attach the cord to the drain tube between each use. A wonderful feature is that these model Prospera Foot Spas come with special dust cover bags, a material like this is often found on protective bags used on brass instruments. I will use my dust cover when displaying mine in my and my spouse’s bathroom between uses as it looks nice. If I had owned one of these years ago when I used to visit some folks that were in need of foot grooming I would have most likely toted one of these styles if it came with a bag and once in a while treated some of these types to a buffing foot soak. The red light feature assuring me of sterilization of the spa between uses. ***I must say I am pleased it is so light weight which adds to my ability to easily place it anywhere I want to groom my feet in my home or even perhaps on special occasions such as I did this past Christmas Eve in my back yard. It is pretty quiet and has one of those professional spa style functions with its auto setting where it heats the water up, then beeps to signal the start of the massage. It also beeps again several times to let the user or owner know when to move his or her feet so all quadrants of the foot are massaged/buffed for equal time lengths. These also have timer settings. I like the quickness of the thermal heating, so I do not suffer cold feet waiting for it to warm up. Obviously, these Prospera spas also have the red light feature. I must say I like my foot spa and am glad it works for me. It is certainly quicker than using my hand held foot buffer and much more comfortable, obviously. After I use mine, I rub my feet in Aria Starr Organic Argan Oil to lock in their softness and nourish them. I also found out using my Prospera foot spa relieved my previously sore heels. I have had a difficult time in past finding aa width shoes I like and my feet slipping around in my shoes has caused my heels to often be sore. It seems like this will be lessened and once I get more proper fitting narrow gorgeous but faux leather (I’m vegetarian,) shoes I like the look of no doubt sore heels will be a thing of the past for me.-Julie Sands

Water warms up really quick and well. After the 3rd time using, I reached to grab my boyfriend's hand and you could feel electricity running thru my hand to his hand. Not sure if this is a defective unit, but now to scared to use again...
