Small, portable and the price is nice

I opened the box that it was shipped in and was surprised at the size of the box the product was in. Don't be downtrodden though!!! This little electric kettle is great!! I have an electric kettle for my kitchen. It is 1500 watts so the water is boiling in a flash. This is 820 watts so it takes a bit to heat a full pot of water. That's ok!! Why you may wonder. It's strictly for my camping use. When you're camping it's all good on how long it takes for water to boil. No hurry, no worries. The kettle folds down small and compact. It shuts off when it reaches temperature. From what I do understand from other reviewers you need to turn it off or unplug it so it doesn't try to boil the water when it starts cooling. Didn't try that myself. The silicone part is nice and sturdy and doesn't get super hot. The lid opens wide to dry it out when you get ready to fold it down for storage. The only negative thing I have to say is I wish the cord was removable so you could carry it to the table without dragging it with you. Other than that one tiny thing it works like a dream and the price is good.

A cute little pot with a couple of minor drawbacks.
By A. N. Onymous on Reviewed in the United States on March 10, 2017
A serviceable little pot, however, the angle of the lid, when open restricts access to the interior of the pot, making it hard to clean. I had to use a bottle brush, I couldn't get my hand inside. The min and max level markers are molded into the silicone body of the pitcher. The way mine is assembled, these markers are located directly beneath the handle, making the marks almost impossible to read. My pitcher does not heat to a rolling boil. It shuts down at 209 degrees, and then the temperature overshoots to 211 degrees. This may not be important to anyone except our British friends, who require a rolling boil for their tea. The folding feature is a plus. I think the pot will do just fine for what I will be using it for, hot chocolate and hot cider in motel room while we are traveling.
