Who’s the third one that I bought
By Mommyoftwo on Reviewed in the United States on April 14, 2021
OK so I absolutely love these and this is the third one I bought and I plan on buying more. First of all it fits so much stuff. So it gets a lot of stuff off of those small shelves that take up so much space. Second of all it’s very strong and very sturdy when you put it together right. My oldest who’s 12 literally destroys all of her furniture I even gave up on buying her bed frames because she manages to break them, she has had one of these shelves for about a year now and it’s still in perfect condition. Oh and then also I can’t get over the price because it’s lasted so long and it’s so sturdy and it fits so much it is my favorite thing for the house because it’s so dang cheap. I wanna get rid of all of my tiny shorter wooden bookshelves and replace it with one of these things. Because it saves so much room. And if you don’t want the huge gaps between the metal things if you put one of those plastic rubber shelf thing that’s on them it works just fine! And then I also forgot to add you can adjust it so if you wanted to use it to put a medium size TV on you could make it so that the shelves are closer together and have a bigger gap so that there’s a kid there is a TV that could fit in the middle. I want one in the playroom I want to in my youngest room and I want to and my oldest rum and I want one in the kitchen. Literally just one of these shelves gets rid of three or four of my other regular size wooden bookshelves because even though the wooden bookshelves look more Homy they just do not fit a lot especially when you have young kids that has a whole bunch of stuff. Or if you live in a small apartment building and you need to save room because you don’t like clutter. Oh and I have another thing to add it’s really easy to put together once you figured it out at first I was really confused and very frustrated but then once I figure it out I was able to put the second two that I bought with no problem together. I literally can’t get over the price I’m sorry. I the people who are saying is not sturdy or just not putting it together enough. It does takeSome arm strength and yes it could be a little frustrating because it’s easy to make it so that the legs are crooked. But I do believe that’s why there is curves all the way at the polls so that you can count how many curves you’re at so that you can make sure that it’s even or you can go old-school and just simply use a measuring tape but I don’t like measuring tapes lol so I just counted up the curves up on the pool so if I was on curve eight with the bottom shelf I would make sure I was on curve eight with the other three corners of that shelf. I noticed they also had a tall tall skinny one that’s very similar to this that I’m thinking of trying out as well. Since I live in an apartment building you cannot put wall shelves that you have to have floor shelves. And it just takes up so much space this is a great space saver

Not very stable and a very bent shelf :(
By Mom2girls on Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2024
I started using these types of adjustable wire shelving units when they first came out years and years ago. Back then only places like Lowes or Bed Bath and Beyond carried them. They were well made, strong and sturdy and usually came 18 inches deep (not 14) which fits baskets much better. I have used them everywhere from the garage to closets to playrooms. They are wonderful for their ability to be changed for anything you need to store on them. When we moved I left many of them behind (still in wonderful condition) thinking I would just buy new ones when we got settled. Now I'm regretting leaving behind my strong sturdy units. These are NOT great quality...not awful but not at all the quality of the ones I used to have. They feel light and a bit bendable almost and on carpet they wobble more than they should. My older ones, I could put the shelf on the bottom of the unit maybe 12 inches above the floor just so I could store something on the floor under the bottom shelf (to get more storage space). On this unit, if you do that the unit is very wobbly...I would not suggest it, especially if you store heavy things on it. If you are only storing linens or clothing it should serve your purposes fine. If you plan to store canned goods or lots of heavy things, it just does not feel like it will hold it very stable. Just my 2 cents worth. OH - and out of 4 units I purchased, all the parts were there and all was in good condition EXCEPT ONE shelf...it was bent in a corner and the lines of part of the shelf were off like the lines were not even. Disappointing but it was the last one I put together and the last shelf of that unit, so at that point not worth boxing up to return. But, like i said, they are not the quality of the ones I bought many years ago (nothing is anymore sadly).
