Outward Hound PupSaver Lifejacket - XS

We have a 4.2 lbs. yorkie and have ordered several winter coats only to have two fit out of six. I saw that the website said XS and even though I gave it a try at a great price and was the deal of the day. It fits perfectly and easy to put on and take off he feels comfortable with it on and looks great, I got the grandkids one and now our dog has a life jacket. Would recommend this product for any one with small skinny dog hard to fit.

Absolutely amazing product. The quality of this products is better then you would expect for the price. Not bulky on the dog and the handle is very convenient for that moment when you have to pull the dog from the water.

4 Stars because the sizing was really off. Once I got the correct size, it did fit well and served it's purpose.

Love this life jacket. I love the fact it has the bit of flotation under the chin. Fit was great for my 7 lb dog. She fell off the paddle board and I was very quickly able to grab her by the top handle. I had another brand lifejacket, but this one is top notch.

Works great for our Chi. He's scared to death of the water but with this on, he will at least walk along the edge of the beach. Haha! We've put him in the water with it on and it works well for him to calmly swim to shore (without it on, he freaks out in the water. Glad he won't be scared in an emergency!).

I like outward hound. It’s a very good brand. The sizing is off. An XS would fit maybe a 5-6 lb dog but I have a 10lb and 13lb dog, the both have different body types and it didn’t fit either of them.

My dogs head kept going under water, we had to modify this so she could wear it.

This is the second vest I've purchased for my Chihuahuas. The first for my 3 year old XXS fit my 3lb Chihuahua but was too tight around the neck for my 4lb Chihuahua. The XS is a little too long across the back for the 4lb but it holds him snuggly under the belly so I know he will be safe.

This is really tiny-- the sizing is incorrect. It says for 5 pounds to 15 pounds (for the XS). But it barely fits my Chihuahua that weighs 6.5 pounds. The back part is okay, but the neck part is close to being too tight. And, it will not even go around the neck of my other chihuahua that weighs 10 pounds! (Or her stomach, either.) So-- unless you have a really tiny dog (like 5 pounds or under), I would go to the next size. I am not going to take the time to send it back because it was very inexpensive anyway, but just wanted other people to have the heads up.

I can’t believe they make a lifejacket this small. It is so dang cute I can hardly stand it. They are so soft and comfortable. There is a nice amount of thick padding around the neck to hold the head up properly in the water and a substancial amount of material with Velcro straps and snapping straps to hold the underbelly securely and comfortably. My two babies Weigh 3lb and 4lbs. I purchased xxsmall. I also LOVE the nice large handle on the top.
