Applied this to my front porch stairs that were replaced with large rough sawn redwood timbers. (See before and after pics.) Went on easy. Brushed on real heavy and it soaked up a lot. I got the brown which had more red tone than I expected, which I wanted. I really like. Very curious to see how it holds up but so far cost and ease of application are a winner.

This was a VERY reddish brown, redwood type of look.
