Only bug repellent I will wear. No question better than deet

Ok. Heres the skinny. Dont believe me, research it yourself. 1. Just as effective as deet for ticks and mosquitos according to 3rd party tests. (i trust that more than peoples opinion... think placebo affect of people smelling deet and assuming it works better because it smells like a chemical bomb) 2. MORE effective than deet for biting flies/chiggars/ knats. (third party studies verify this) 3. Virtually scentless! No, seriously, its not marketing bafoonery. 4. Not oily! when it dries, you legit cant feel anything. You dont even know you have anything on. Deet and even the sawyer picaridan spray is a little oily. For what every reason the lotion is less oily than the spray which makes no sense. 5. Lasts longer! for what ever reason the lotion last longer and isnt oily... not sure how that works... 6. Picaridan is non toxic to dogs, deet is highly toxic to dogs. 7. Picaridan doesnt damage synthetic clothing. Deet does. Downsides? The only one i can think of outside of (its a little more expensive) is that it supposedly is not as sweat resistant as oil based deet solutions. Literally, that is the only checkbox in deets favor...

Leaves a tacky residue on the skin.Needs to come with a smaller container to put some in.

It does kinda keep bugs at bay. Still got bitten though and the container is way too big.
