A smoother taste, a more pleasant experience and reduces after effects if too much is consumed.

The taste of the wine when using the Ullo filters is actually smoother and nicer than when poured directly out of the bottle. I like to get moderately priced red wine, between 15.00 and 25.00 a bottle. I find that by filtering out the sulfites and aerating first, drinking wine is a much more pleasant experience. I also appreciate that the business stands behind the product. When I reported an issue with a couple of the filters leaking into the wine, I received a package of filters to replace the defective ones. I appreciated that! The only drawback is the price of the filters. I figured that it added about three dollars to each bottle of wine consumed. That is pretty costly. Other than that, I am very happy with the product!

IF either of them works Just the Wine has worked better for me and is cheaper to use

I purchased this as well as "Just the Wine" ( from another site). First of all, IF either of them works Just the Wine has worked better for me and is cheaper to use. So far, I have never had a headache when using Just the Wine but once had a headache when using this Ullo. So what does this mean? Nothing really. I have been told several times that SO2 is not the cause of the headaches. I have been told by EXPERTS that the wines in Europe also have sulfites. I have been told that it is an allergy- or that I drink with more food in Europe or that I am happy in Europe. And yet there is always always a headache after white wine and sometimes a headache with red wine in the U.S.( I am happily eating and drinking where ever I am). In Europe- countless bottles of wine over the past 20 years and NEVER a headache. Also never a headache with Just the Wine drops and only one headache so far with Ullo. The reason that I am only giving it 3 stars is because once one purchases the Ullo one must continue to by expensive filters.
