Little Martin's Drawer Nail Clippers Kit

I bought this after accidentally clipping my baby's finger with clippers, and making her bleed :( I have to say, this file is AWESOME when it works. The light is helpful, and there are several different grades of file so you can decide how intense you want to get with the filing. It filed quickly and well, but was very gentle. I could touch it to my baby's face while on, and she didn't even flinch. The reason I am giving it 3 stars instead of 5 is because I used this about once a week for 4 months, so that's approximately 16 times, and the file just stopped working. It seems like the motor is broken, or maybe the battery enclosure isn't secure enough to keep the charge....not totally sure. I changed the batteries thinking they died, but with new batteries, the light will come on, and the file doesn't spin, or do anything. All in all, a disappointment because this was originally one of my favorite baby purchases. I really want another one, but I don't want to have to spend $27 every 4 months to file my baby's nails. I wish this was more durable. I'm currently looking into other brands that will last longer. Maybe I just got a dud, but I recommend researching other brands before deciding on a file.
