Worth the buy!!

Great quality, looks sexy, and wasn't hard to install at all. The manufacturers must have be reading up on the past reviews for this because the gate included a couple of things: 1) A giant warning tag with pictures attached to it, to remind you that the door doesn't fully connect to/line up with the gate UNTIL you actually increase the pressure via the rods, lol. So remember, folks - your gate works based on pressure mounted against the wall, so just read/walk through the instructions, set it up, and you'll be fine. 2) The giant white warning label sticker that is wrapped around both sides of the gate came off super easy. I guess they changed the adhesive on that since some of the older reviews that I've read were super angry about it. As you can see, I took mine off and it looks clean. 3) There are little plastic tabs at the bottom corner of the door on both sides that are moveable. (I turned it in my picture so you can see what I mean.) They can be kept up so your gate swings both ways, or individually turned down on one side so your gate only opens one way. So yes, this gate does open both ways. The included extensions are perfect for an entryway, and the gate by itself is perfect for a doorway. My cat understood how to use the gate right away. I personally appreciate that the tiny door doesn't wildly swing around if you leave it unlatched and decide to open/close the bigger door for yourself. It's the right amount of open/close swing. Highly suggest you buy the 4 Pack Baby Gates Wall Cups from vmaisi (that another reviewer recommended) to help protect the mounts from the wall. It fits perfectly when you put the mounts inside the gate's included plastic wall cups inside the vmaisi rubber wall cups. https://www.amazon.com/Bumpers-Doorway-Baseboard-Pressure-Mounted/dp/B01L8B1RZG?ref_=ast_sto_dp Anywho, 10/10 no complaints so far. I got this at 50% off and now it's 60% off, bummer. But now y'all can buy this gate with more confidence and at an even less price than my past self did!

My dog can get through the cat door!
By Jake on Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2023
Overall, the gate is easy to assemble, good looking and is holding up well. We purchased a similar gate at Walmart the day we brought our puppy home in order to give our cats a place to retreat from her. We soon replaced it with this gate with the idea that the cats could come out and hang out and get used to the dog, and then retreat to the other part of the house when they had enough. The problem is... the cat door becomes useless once the dog figures out how to easily squeeze herself through it! My 50 pound GSD lab pitbull mix goes through the door with ease. Now we just keep the door closed and I've cut some spacer blocks from 2x2 and spacered the gate away from the wall a few inches, now the cats can come through with ease but the dog can't chase them down... as originally intended.
