just what I was looking for!

For quite some time I have been searching for an inexpensive way to play the same tune throughout the house, but didn't want to spend a ton of money for a sound system. I also didn't want to be required to talk to my devices. I purchased three Rhythm speakers and placed them throughout the house. It does exactly what I wanted them to do. I'm very pleased with the sound quality and it sure beats Bluetooth. Yes, the app has a lot to be desired. I've got an old Ipad, a Samsung tablet, an Amazon Fire tablet and an Iphone that's more than a couple of years old. Since I want to stream music from Amazon Music, the only device that the app works well on is the Iphone. I was quite surprised that the app is not available for the Fire tablet, since the speakers support Alexa. Installation was extremely easy, although it took me some time to figure out what functions were going to work on what device. That being said, I still give the Jam speakers five stars for bridging the budget gap with quality speakers at an amazing price. On my Jam wish list is for my speakers to be able to talk to my Roku device that's connected to my non-smart TV. :)

Had high hopes

Very disappointed, wanted to find an alternative to SONOS because SONOS' app doesn't support Downcast and I listen to many podcasts through Downcast. Set up for the Jam Rhythm was simple enough. Initially the responsiveness and the sound quality were impressive; however, after day 1 the connection between my iPhone and the speaker would intermittently cut out. I returned the item and purchased SONOS Play 1 speakers and couldn't be happier. I can live with getting my podcasts through Stitcher for now.
