Good, after you slice them open

* second update*: we fixed them! He hated having them out on, but after reading the reviews I got out the scissors and sliced them open. Voila! Now they go on easy and he loves them again. Weird that they are made too tight to use without slicing them open, but great that they can be fixed easily. 40 bucks not down the drain after all. *update*: after about a month of struggling to get these on every single time (and I mean struggle) we gave up. They just don't open up enough for his feet to get inside. It's a shame because he liked them fine once they were on but the torture of trying to get his feet past the opening ended up being a deal breaker since now he screams when he sees them. So if your kid has really narrow hot dog shaped feet and ankles these might work for you. Original: Nice and flexible. The kids loves them. Only four stars because they are a nightmare to get on. But once they are on he wears them happily all day.

They forgot to put the elastic gusset in the first cross strap. Once you powder and force the foot past this they are wonderful shoes. Don’t know who’s responsible but my grandson is getting a different pair of sandals. I’m grateful for the free return so that I don’t have to slice them open as other purchasers have had to do. He loved them but the writing is on the wall here.
