Pretty cool collectors set.

Picked this up for $25 and what a steal at that price. To start off I was very surprised how big this was. The box weighs nearly 15 lbs. It's all packed nicely in a big foam shell that can be put back together and put back into the box shown in the image if desired. I personally think I'm going to find some stuff to put in the box as it doesn't feel like a typical flimsy box stuff often comes in. But onto the items within. The steel case is as pictured above looks good, it's laid out like a PS4 case (disc on the right) but could of course hold the Xbox One version of the game. It is well protected so it shouldn't be dented, etc like they unfortunately are in some collector's editions. The playing cards were something I was interested in because I like having unique sets of cards. The box could use a little less gloss so it would be more easy to open but the cards themselves have a nice look. The message tube is plastic, which is a bit of a downer, but not a huge deal. The cloth propaganda poster is a nice touch. It could be a cool thing to frame or something if you have a good spot for it to match other stuff. The statue itself is the real draw. It's 14 inches tall and quite a bit heavier than I expected. Statue is pretty detailed and you can remove the arms to replace with a different pistol ( I believe the second option is a 1911) and a shotgun (870 I believe) rather than the spiked club. There's also an LED in his satchel on his chest that glows orange. It comes with the batteries needed and you can simply remove a piece of rubble to turn it on and off as desired. Overall a solid collector's edition and a great deal at $25.Could be a nice gift for someone who is really into the game/history.

Not the best collectors edition.

The game itself is a 8/10. The collectors edition is not the best. The 14 inch statue isn't the best paint job and it's flimsy for its size. It's heavier on the top than the bottom which is a problem because it shakes a lot. It does light up and it has swapping weapons. I give the statue a 6/10. The playing cards are actually really good. They have custom pictures on it and the outside edges are really nice. While the inner card is a plane card texture the outside is glossy. It seems like they put a lot into these cards. I give the cards a 10/10. The pigeon messenger is cool. The downloadable content does come inside in a piece of ripped up writing paper. Which I think is a cool idea. But it is made of plastic and for the original 180 dollar price tag that's pretty bad. I have the pigeon messenger a 4/10. The cloth poster is actually really cool. It's a propoganda poster from ww1. They did put time into this and I give it a 9/10. The steel case has really nice art in it. To be honest it's just a normal steel case. It's a 9/10. The patch is nothing special. 5/10. My favorite part is the box it comes in. It's really high quality. At the end I give this collectors edition a 7/10. Not the best but it is a fine addition to your collection.
