A stronger model for the money
By JJ on Reviewed in the United States on July 14, 2025
All the usual features of similar thermometers with timers, etc., but this model is more robust with respect to the shielding of the wires used for the temperature probe's. That thicker diameter should translate to greater longevity. This has been a weak spot for other brands that I’ve owned that I can no longer use due to breakage.

Not so great
By M. Mercer on Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2025
It lasted 2-1/2 years. Today 4-20-2025, it almost cost me a brisket. While using both probes, it didn't get above 78 degrees. It seemed odd so I put another probe in it and my brisket was reading 170°. New batteries was not the ticket. So this therm pro has bit the dust. I paid for the name, not the quality.
