Darn Tough Mens Light Cushion Crew Sock

I agree the sock are good quality, but I got a dozen, even though they are very expensive, because of the Warranty. I figured I'd never have to spend money on socks again. Boy was I wrong. THeir Lifetime Warranty is a gimmick! One of my socks developed a hole. They did agree to honor their warranty, but replacing the sock cost me a s much as buying a new high quality sock from a different company. So buying from Darn Tough did not save me money. The first insult is that I had to pay return shipping cost which alone was enough to buy a quality replacement from a different company. My experience with reputable high quality companies it that they provide a prepaid return shipping label for products under warranty. The next insult is that the warranty was not for a new pair, but for a dollar credit which was not enough to pay for an equivalent replacement sock. The idea of their Lifetime Warranty made me a customer of Darn Tough. The actuality of their warranty has made me a very dissatisfied past customer. Darn Tough could fix this very easily. Instead of requiring the defective socks to be returned, they could simply require an email photo of the defective sock. They should also provide sufficient credit to actually purchase an equivalent pair of socks.
