Lovely Chandelier with fun light distribution.

My wife and I really like this chandelier. I was looking for something that had either a "starry night" or "firework" feeling to it, and this fit the bill perfectly. Because I was also moving where the fixture was located (that's why it's on the circular extension box) the screws for the hanging plate were short (only reason for 4 star "easy to install" rating) though they seem short even if hung traditionally. I did buy different bulbs for this that are dimmable (bought here on Amazon at https://amzn.to/2MvEtOj ) though the dimmer switch didn't work, so it's on a regular switch. I'll add a dimmer photo if Amazon allows me to add that later. The light does come with LED bulbs; so yours will look slightly different. We like how the bulbs are somewhat hidden/diffused by the beads, and love that the light that's thrown from the fixture is dappled. I decided to add the bulbs half-way through (clear instructions say to do it after putting in the "branches") because I believe that's easier in this case. Fixture is easy to raise/lower (I wanted it "high" though you can see I lowered it a little to accommodate the branches as I worked) and as I said: instructions (in English) were clear. Fixture was well packaged in a small box; no scratches... perfect!

A Disappointing and Overpriced Chandelier
By Fadi Shamaan on Reviewed in the United States on March 27, 2023
Well, where do I even begin with this GDNS Chandeliers Firework LED Light Stainless Steel Crystal Pendant Lighting Ceiling Light Fixtures Chandeliers Lighting? Let me start by saying that I had high hopes for this chandelier, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations in so many ways. Let's start with the installation process. I'm no stranger to putting together light fixtures, but this one was a doozy. The instructions were about as clear as mud, and it took me several hours and a few curse words to finally get everything put together. And when I finally turned on the switch, I was met with...meh. The "firework" effect was underwhelming at best, and the LED lights were so bright they made my eyes water. But wait, there's more! The stainless steel finish looked more like cheap plastic, and the crystals were so tacky I half expected to find them in a dollar store. And to add insult to injury, the chandelier itself was much smaller than I expected. I mean, sure, the diameter was 23.5 inches as advertised, but it looked so much smaller in person. Now, I don't want to be too harsh. There were a couple of positives to this chandelier. For one, it definitely got a laugh out of my friends when they saw it. But all in all, I can't recommend this chandelier unless you're in the market for a small, tacky, and overpriced chandelier . One star out of five. Mark these also: Dos: 1. Consider the size and style of your room when selecting a chandelier. A large chandelier may be overpowering in a small room, while a small chandelier may look out of place in a large room. 2. Look for LED chandeliers that are energy efficient and long-lasting. This will save you money on your energy bills and reduce the need for frequent bulb replacements. 3. Consider the color temperature of the LED bulbs in your chandelier. Warm white bulbs (2700K-3000K) create a cozy, inviting atmosphere, while cool white bulbs (4000K-5000K) are more energizing and ideal for task lighting. 4. Choose a chandelier that complements your existing decor. If you have a modern space, look for a chandelier with clean lines and a sleek design. If your decor is more traditional, a chandelier with crystal accents and ornate details may be more appropriate. 5. Install your chandelier at the right height. The bottom of the chandelier should be at least 7 feet from the floor to avoid bumping into it. If your ceiling is higher than 8 feet, add an additional 3 inches for every foot of ceiling height. Don'ts: 1. Don't install a chandelier that is too large for your room. A chandelier that is too large can overwhelm the space and make it feel crowded. 2. Don't forget to turn off the power before installing your chandelier. This will prevent electrical shock and damage to your fixture. 3. Don't choose a chandelier with bulbs that are difficult to replace. This can make maintenance a hassle and discourage you from keeping your chandelier in good working order. 4. Don't install your chandelier too low. This can create a hazard and make it difficult to move around the room. 5. Don't forget to clean your chandelier regularly. Dust and debris can accumulate on the fixture, which can diminish its appearance and affect its performance.
