SWIG SAVVY Tritan Sport Water Bottle

Really a delight to use. After owning a handful of water bottles over the last 3 years this removes/eliminates the small hassles most bottles have. On the minus side: 1). It is slightly wider than the typical size, as some reviewers pointed out, which can make it difficult to impossible to seat in some cup holders. 2) Lid is not flat. I don't like that I can't balance it on it's head due to the angle. Minor gripe but noticeable for me. On the plus side: 1) Light, yet fairly durable. I dropped a 75# dumbbell from about a foot up on the lid and broke part of the retaining clip. Still locked and latched though and otherwise is fine. 2) The material has a softer, more skin like feel than some of the other hard thick plastic water bottles. The sweethome recommended Thermos water bottle just feels significantly less pleasant to hold than this one. 3) Ergonomically, the tapering at its middle coupled with the rubber like band at its center lend towards a more comfortable hold. 4) The fact that it is lower and wider for the equivalent capacity makes it less protruding, more portable and less likely to topple. 5) The latching is the best I've used. WAY easier to unlatch than the Thermos ones (those are a pain). 6) Aesthetically, its proportions and translucent fun colors appeal more so than most. 7) Breather hole. This is such an easy design choice, yet surprisingly lacking in most water bottles. A small second hole has been cut so that as one pours water, air can fill the vacated space. This makes for a significantly smoother pour from the water hole. You will notice the difference between this and the sweethome recommended Thermos water bottle immediately. In case you are wondering, plastic seals have been put in the cap, over both holes, so it doesn't fill the cap with water. So, attempting to modify an existing water bottle by drilling your own second hole will make it easy to drink but a mess to deal with whenever opening the lid/cap. This is a well designed product, however I only wrote this lengthy of a review for a simple water bottle because I am very happy by its effects. I find myself reaching for the water bottle and drinking water more often. My skin and overall mindset are better too because of getting that additional water. It just goes to show that even in the simple and routine some "spice" can really improve things.
