Solid built hardware and no glitch software(iOS app) double thumbs up!!
By socalR53 on Reviewed in the United States on December 23, 2016
This is a super cool Toy. We love it and no, we didn't get a free unit to try. My Son loves it so much that we created a video review of it Check out the youtube video. just google search: "R.E.V air review" by iNathan To Summarize, the build quality of the car and drone is so solid for the money and the app works without any glitches on iOS. We tried iPhone 6S and an iPad mini 2 and it works flawlessly. So much fun playing with my son. There is a bit of a learning curve to master the drone skills, if you have never used an RC helicopter or drone, but once you get a hang of it, it's just a piece of cake.

Nice car, drone terrible.
By anonymouse on Reviewed in the United States on November 29, 2019
I can sum up the review by saying I paid $20 and feel half satisfied. For the price, I wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised the car was better than I thought. It's of decent quality and responded quite well. I didn't have any problems with the app. It was very easy to get setup and going. The drone is a different story. Again for the price I wasn't expecting much. For a drone, it's kinda nice. Like the car, connecting the drone to the phone app was easy. The good impression stopped there. The first time I turned the drone on, it flew up about 3 foot from the ground and hovered. It was being controlled by the A.I. at that point. Then it picked a random direction and took off. Smashing into the wall and a surprisingly fast speed. Again I tried flying the drone, and again and again it would loose it's mind. So I decided to try controlling the drone myself. Same result. While the drone did respond to flight control, it was horrible in that I could not control the altitude. It's ability to self regulate height was horrible. Calibration didn't help. After a few more attempts, I was able to get the drone to lift and hover. Stability at last. Using the control, I was able to slowly rotate the drone. I moved it around for a short time. Then, once again it would start drifting into a random direction. Not only pick a random direction, but as it tried to self correct, it would pick up speed until smashing into the wall at full speed again. For an obvious indoor toy, I was shocked at how fast this drone would loose it's mind and become almost leathal. So here's another problem. When you sense the drone is loosing it's mind, you try to quickly turn off the power. There's a good 3 second delay from the moment you turn off power to when the drone actually slows down and stops. Most of the time, I would try stopping power only to have the drone pick up speed and hit the wall harder. All in all, I was completely underwhelmed by the drone. There's that cool factor. And then there's stupid dangerous. I put this drone in the stupid dangerous category. The car is a different story. Which is why I give this a 2-3 star rating. Highly recommend purchasing the dueling cars and not get the car/drone combo. The sensors and intellegence of the drone are terrible. As for the app, I loved the concept. Very cool integration. Easy to use and well designed. As an overall product, a big thumbs down. Even if NOT buying this for a kid, you don't want this drone in your home.
