A bargain you shouldn’t pass up

The Good: I have bought 5 of these refurbished R1-360’s and I love them with the Multiroom app you can group them and set two up in stereo or play them all at once or play different things in different speakers. They are reliable with solid 2.4 ghz WiFi connections can be used as Bluetooth or Samsung TV sound connect. I use them with my sound bar for surround sound. The Bad: The Multiroom app for PC is buggy and inconsistent sometimes my music library is there, sometimes it’s not. Samsung has discontinued prime music support for the app so you are left with Spotify, Pandora or SeriusXM and some radio Apps if you are a subscriber to use of those you are in good shape and you can play anything through Bluetooth. The Ugly: Support..... these are no longer active products for Samsung and there is very little support for them on the web sight but mine have worked flawlessly for many years, my only real complaint is the Multiroom for PC app.

Wifi not compatible with itunes nor Samsung home theater products

the speaker is great, but the app sucks. you can only use amazon music with the wifi--it will not work with itunes. i wish apple, amazon and samsung would get their acts together and allow consumers the freedom to use whatever music service they choose--or at least inform them BEFORE you purchase the product that if you want to use wifi, you have to subscribe to their music service. bait and switch. Also, why don't these speakers work with other Samsung Home theater products--one would think that you could use as rear speakers with my Samsung sound bar and subwoofer. Nope--not so. Its pretty lame. They are only good as stand alone bluetooth speakers.
