My Little Pony Spike the Dragon

The child absolutely loved this toy. It was just as pictured and made of pretty sturdy parts, not cheap pieces. It survived the child's sibling, too, so that was good to hear. Was a great deal as in the price!

This is such a cool toy! It seems very well made, the sound and light effects are a lot of fun. My 7 year-old daughter loved waking up to this at Christmas, and she has continued playing with nearly every day. The fact that it shoots the darts keeps her attention. She loves having some actual action figures to go with all her favorite My Little Ponies!

This product is much lager than it appears in the image. Daughter saw it in an ad and wanted it, very happy with the purchase. I would order it on sale though as I feel like its probably "worth" $40 but goes down to $13 USD on sale. Makes sounds, lights up and shoots green fire(?). Only possible complaint I had was the helmet was a little bent from handling because the packaging is open faced with no covering but it is easily bent back with no damage.

Is it just me or are toys really overpriced these days for what you get? Either way, it’s worth it. The dragon makes sounds, shoots projectiles and is for a little girl who is very abusive to toys. It’s sturdy and well made.

I ordered this as a new item. It arrived with the larger dragon loose in the shipping box. The rest of the items appear to be in the package fine. However, this is a gift. Kind of cheesy to have to wrap it up the way it is. As long as it's all there, it looks like it will be a hit. Just not thrilled that it is damaged packaging, with the toy loose and separate from the packaging.

This dragon was WAY bigger than I expected. I bought it for a toy drive so I can't speak to the durability of the toy, but the size was great, the design was adorable and it looks like a lot of fun to play with. I know that the little MLP fans in my house thought it was awesome!

My daughter saved up her allowance to buy this herself and I regret even giving her an allowance or the idea of buying her own toy. She absolutely loves this dragon thing that, despite how hard it is she will sleep with it. Which freaks me out since it makes noise and growls and does it in the middle of the night when I’m having my San’s Children time and watching Flavor of Love. Not cool. But whatever, the toy is cute, my kid likes it and won’t let it go. So yeah it’s great but the batteries are about to go missing.

My 3-year-old son is a big fan of My Little Pony, so I was happy to see that Hasbro included a picture of a girl and a boy on the box! He'd been asking for a Spike toy for a long time and could show his older brother that "it's not just for girls!" We've had a lot of fun playing with big Spike and little Spike - the little one is the right size to play with the pony toys, and the big one roars, lights up, and moves his arms when you push him down, which is very exciting for my kids. We don't use the projectiles because they get lost so easily, but it's just as good of a toy without them.

I bought this toy for my four year old granddaughter, who is quite discerning when it comes to toys. Spike is a purple dragon,a little over a foot tall with a goofy face and fangs. His eyes light up, his head move back and forth and he roars! He comes with a saddle and adorable Spike Junior. Spike was under $20.00, a 60% savings, and came in an easy-to-wrap box. I also bought My Little Pony Equestria; Rainbow Dash to ride Spike, and my granddaughter was in seventh heaven!

The largest toy in the "Guardians of Harmony" first series, this figure is well detailed and comes with a few accessories, including 3 missiles which can be fired from the mouth, a helmet, an armor plate, a small Spike, and a badge to wear. There's sound which can be turned off, some articulation in the arms. Overall this is a great toy and a nice direction to see My Little Pony toy line go in. The comic story featuring this large version of Spike will be released in February 2017.
