Good value, quality and looks nice

Overall I'm very happy with this purchase. It looks very nice with clean lines and is minimalistic. The stainless steal on the handle is a nice accent. I did have an issue with one of the touch buttons (on/off switch) a few times after I first purchased the unit. After pushing it a few times in different places (corners of the button) and massaging it a bit, it seems to be working properly. I haven't had any future issues with it over the last 3 months and it works with one touch.

One Year In and it's OK

Overall it's a nice looking a fairly good coffee maker. I bought mine in April 3018 and have owned it for a little over a year now. There are some problems though such as the wire filter/basket for the grounds has frayed at the bottom and now grounds slip past and get into my coffee. The design could use an update for a failsafe as well, where if you forget to put the plastic top on the carafe before brewing you don't have the machine overflow all over the place. This has happened to me multiple times early in the morning in my half awake state. My last cheaper coffee maker had a failsafe where it wouldn't dispense coffee into the pot unless the removable lid was on the top of it. So after it has overflowed multiple times; I think the electrics have been damaged and now the hotplate only brews on extra-hot and pops and ticks quite often. Another annoying feature is that you turn your maker on with the 'off button'.
