Lamps are lovely. Simple and modern. However, when first removed from box and examined, one Finial is cracked like an egg and crumbled in my hands. The product base and finial are made of a pottery or porcelain type material and relatively fragile. Amazon tells me Only way to solve the problem is to send both lamps back. Of course, by returning the 2 lamps, I run the risk of receiving replacements with similar/same issue or broken based or the even more common complaint with ordering online, damaged shades. Consider how they were packaged with very little shock protection, I wish to receive the replacements first before sending back originals. Not an option I am told. Best and easiest solution would be to send me a replacement finial. The most efficient and cost effective solution for all. But...no. Not a product I can recommend based on its delicate nature and poor packaging considering its material. Looks aren't everything. Quality, time + cost effective solution to simple issue is everything.
