13W Dimmable LED Retrofit Recessed Lighting Fixture (= 75W), 7.48" Outer/5.51" Inner

We ordered this single light to evaluate it for ease of installation, fit, color, and brightness of the LEDs before ordering two 12 packs. The light is bright! Our first impression was maybe too bright, but within ten minutes we had adjusted. No need for a dimmer at our house. WE LIKE THE COLOR AND BRIGHTNESS of these 3k lights. The built-in trim rings fit the ceiling better than the former trim rings, and the light is recessed to reduce glare. The single light purchase allowed us to try this wattage and color before we bought a house full of lights we don't like. Many reviews reported problems installing these lights. It took us about one minute per light. The trick is to put one end of each V spring in the first hooks located inside the can light fixture, then, placing your middle fingers on the middle bend of the V springs, use your thumbs and forefingers to grasp the loose ends of the remaining spring. With pressure downward using your middle fingers, raise the loose ends toward the second hooks in the can fixture. With two ends of the V springs already in place, you only need to force your will on the second hooks and move them into place. The 'V' springs don't pop off very much using this process. But, if you are not handy, hire an electrician. We did have one can fixture without hooks for the springs. Fortunately, we noticed four small holes in that fixture which approximated the location of the hooks in the other fixtures. These holes accepted the wire springs the same as the hooks! After the short adjustment to the brightness of these lights, we realized how dim and yellow our lights have been all these years. No regrets with the 3k LED retrofit lights in our house.
